I need help finding the original equipment air scoop for my 1997 F350 Powerstroke that funnels air into the air cleaner. I've called every dealership in Tulsa and no one has one and it is discontinued. Called a couple of salvages and the part is missing from the F350s they have. Any suggestions and or help would be appreciated. I need it for the S&D CAI I just installed.

my truck is missing that part too. I just pulled it all out for the new set up. Probably ease to make one and coat it with a rubber spray on to keep it quiet.

 

I thought Mike offered to send you one?

 

After he got home and checked, he didn't have one. I am hoping someone does especially with all the aftermarket CAIs everyone has installed.

Junkyard. Or post WTB ads on the classifieds of all the forums. As said, lots of people ditch the OEM for an aftermarket (not "cold" exactly...) intake, so someone might send you one for the cost of the ride.

If you have a picture I may have one. I removed my stock air filter housing last year in favour of a DIY 6637 intake. I'm just unsure of what exact part you are talking about.
