So you want to put 67-72 flat plate top pull open door handles and panels on a 73-79 door huh? I have never seen it.

Your english and grammar are terrible. Try to reword/correct your question and throw in some punctuation. It will make it easier for everyone to understand your question so we can try to help.

sorry for the confusion
But yes I am thinking of replacing the door latches on my 74 f100 project with the 67 - 72 Pull type. Figure I would need to cut and weld in new mounting for them. I just do not care for the stock panels and pulls.

So you mean something like this? So do you want the lever or the squeeze type? At least the door panel is base is metal and probably a lot more durable.

1967 Ford pickup doors (picture #1) have the lever-style door release and no push-button provision for locking the door. To lock this door, you would push down on the release handle on the driver's side or pull up on the passenger-side handle.

The '68-'72 style (pictures # 2 thru 7) had a squeeze-type release and the door lock button. Obviously, due to the differences in door opening and locking hardware, the door panels do not interchange.

Yes are going to definitely need some 67-72 door handle mechanisms, might have to change the end latch rods and assemblies that catch the striker?

Much better-thank you. I would also like to apologize for being so harsh.

Unfortunately, I am not much help to you. I have had both types of doors apart but never considered trying to swap the 68-72 handle into a 73-79 door. Usually body parts, door hardware, etc. don't swap easily between the two generations so I suspect that some fabrication skills would be required to make it happen. Hopefully another member can give you better insight into your question.
