Wood panel interior bezels. How to fix them?
I have an 82 F-150 that I am going to start working on. My interior is okay, fix the dash pad and repaint the door panels and I will be done. My problem is that my dash trim/gauge bezels have "wood trim" decals on them that I would like to put back on. Anyone out there done this yet? I can grab a roll of vinyl and use it but I am wondering if there is a different/better way. I have thought of water dipping as well.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Your best bet is to find them online on ebay in better shape. there are places that sell vinyl and I found one place years ago but don't have the site anymore that had proper patterns that matched just about anything out there automotive wise.
If you want to spruce up your "chrome" get some of those silver metallic sharpies they work great at doing this job.

No problem depending on which bezel you need they vary in price I got for a customer a XLT wood grain center bezel for $40 like new with clock and I got the cluster one with factory A/C for $80 like new.
Also don't forget when you go to search ebay hit up the Broncos of the same year sometimes you can find the parts listed under Bronco.
