What is the best anti theft device (besides an alarm)??

Hey guys , i have a 2000 f450 crew cab, and ive heard these trucks are extremely easy to steal. I am going to be leaving my truck along with work equipment in a unlocked storage lot and would like some advice on how i can lock up the truck so a thef cant just drive away with my livelihood. I dont want to install an alarm unless i absolutely have to. Was thinking of a steering wheel lock like the club , or a boot to lock up a tire. This is something that I will have to do everyday, so i would like it to be simple. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

A kill switch that you hide some were that disconnects all power to the pcm. Absolutely impossible to start the truck without major surgery with that. Your regular alarm can disarm the starter. BUT! If its not chained to a building, nothing stops a tow truck.

I think the nice thing about the steering wheel club is its visibility.
If a would be crook sees it he is likely to not break in doing damage.
Just incase the hidden kill switch is a great idea to?
Make sure too tell no one about it...if anyone at all knows expect for you someone could search it and find it....

Just get a good club. I saw a kid on the highway doing 80 in a Honda civic. With the club still on, and a screw driver in the ignition. He was passing me!!

Layers. Club, alarm, kill switch. Ravelco if you are serious about nobody starting it but you. I also heard it's harder for a tow truck if you park with the wheels turned sharply (they'd have to break in and jimmy the ignition lock). Most thieves are looking for quick and easy.

Then he pulls out the extra wheels and nukes you for the extra work. I had a wheel lock on my car and he just put it up on those little wheels and towed it away. Charged me extra for that when I went to get it. Can not beat the tow truck. Those buggers can take anything.

You could pull out your ignition. And hope that it delays them in the process. I'm gonna start doing that in the big city. Real easy to do

Here the actual thieves use tow trucks.

Unfortunately I think that's every where. My Backhoe got stolen last year with a low bed. Thieves of all kinds. Speaking of thieves. Its tax time up here.

Yes it is tax time.
My friend had her car stolen via being towed just 2 years ago.

You could always put one of these in your truck.

Don't do the club idea, all I need is about 1 minute or less and I can have them off, our work lost a key and I had it off the car with in 30 seconds, I do have a pedal stopper that I put on the break (or clutch if standard), yes they could cut that off also but it will be a lot harder, second layer is the Cyclops, unless its on (or off?) it wont start the truck, 3 locks, keep it locked, and remember locks only keep honest people out...4th is perhaps an aux kill switch, and finally an in cab alarm (train horn on the out side) tied to a truck air horn on the inside below a seat....works well...

of course my best one (which requires you to be there) is a good ol Smith& Wesson...but again....it requires you to be there...
