1990 banks install questions

well guys im usually in the psd section but my buddy just bought a 1990 idi and well the same week another good friend of mine wrecked his powerstroke and needed a frame so he bought a 88 cab and frame from a guy for 300 bucks with a banks power pack on a 6.9 but the motor was blown but the turbo seems fine he said we could have it if we pulled the cab and what not off the the frame so he could put his cab and axles and everything on it so we pulled it all sunday and that was when we realized that truck was a 6.9 and we were wondering if turbo will still work and what kind of power difference we should expect and any helpful hints on install and thanks in advance for any help

there is no difference between the 6.9 and 7.3 as far as the turbo is concerned.
put it on, and turn up the fuel 2 flats for a starting point.
