I am missing a front fender welt. My body man thought it was on the old front fender which I took home. I didn't think it was but I checked when I got home and it was not stuck on that fender. He says he can't find it in his shop.

He may still find it somewhere at his shop. But in case he doesn't does anyone have just one fender welt for a 53-56 truck that they would like to sell? I know they sell rolls of the stuff for use in the rear fenders but I would prefer the already shaped welt designed for the front fender.

 

Since it is rubber based item, you really would be better off to replace them both IMO. As spiffy as your truck will become, this isn't an item I would chose to reuse.

 

Thanks, good idea, but they were not original. They are only 17 years old and the truck had been garage kept.
