Turbo Rebuild and EBPV Delete
#16
Do it the right way and buy a deleted pedestal. It will be more $ but worth it in the end. Did you see my mod, if you plan on keeping your turbo for ever i highly recommend you doing it. All you need is a super duty turbo center cartridge and a e99 pedestal, they sell deleted e99 pedestals on ebay for cheap.

For the EBPV housing all you need to do is remove the rivets and it all slides out the bottom hole. You need to press out the seal that is in there then you can hammer in a 3/4" steel plug.
For the pedestal, you need to remove the actuator arm, then you tap the hole with a 1/4" NPT tap and use a pipe plug to close it off.

Does the other part with the flap take 2 brass plugs? or is there only 1 hole??? I thought it was 2 holes.
