Hello, found an older f750 dump truck on a property I built. No papers to be found but an info page glued inside the cab shows a serial or either F75FVN76317 or F75FVA76317 it's a bit hard to tell. The thing is in amazing condition and the engine seems intact. Thinking it may be my next project

 

VIN located here:

Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch.

Safety Standard Certification Label glued to the B pillar below the striker plate.

VIN also stamped atop the right frame rail, either in front of...and/or partially under the cab.

Compare the VIN on the Warranty Plate to the VIN on the Certification Label to the hidden frame VIN to see if they all match.

F75 = F750 (gas).

F = 391 4V FT engine.

V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.

A76317 = 1976 Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.
