Tire Choice-Looking for advice

I am looking to replace the original tires on my 2008 Expedition EB/EL. Currently I have the Pirelli 275/55R/20 Scorpion STRs. I am looking at getting the same but like the tread pattern of the Scorpion ATRs. Anyone have any suggestions on these or any other tires? Very little off road use, mostly highway and occasionally towing a 14' lanscape trailer with 2 ATVs or a 24' car trailer.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at the Michelin LTX M/S (preferably the original version). Also check out the General Grabber HTS (highway version). I would pretty much look at anything but those Pirelli Scorpions. I am 14K into a set and they are about 60% worn. They're rated for 70k! Based on Ford forum postings, many others have had the same issue with these tires.

I usually chew through tires, but have found the Scorpions to be pretty good. 48k on one set, 43 on the other. Likely to get close to 60 on the set that is at 48, which would be a record for me. They will get replaced with Michelins though, my favorites when given a choice.

I find the Scorpions quite loud, whether on an F-150 or an Expedition. The Michelin Premier LTX, or Defender LTX are great tires.

I am currently using the Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Very quiet and comfortable. No complaints and the price point is very affordable.
