Aftermarket Anchor Points

I just got a 93 f350 and need some anchor points for the stake pockets on the bed. I ordered some "universal" ones and they didn't fit. I figured I'd see what you all were using before I ordered another crap set on amazon. I'm not going to be hauling tanks or anything, but I'd like some pretty decent ones that I can crank ratchet straps on pretty hard. Mostly gonna be hauling dirt bikes and random crates, boxes, etc.

Thanks,
BDD

How about some fold down d rings? For tying down cycles I like to have a tie down spot down
low about 12-16" on each side of the tire, all the wat to the front of the bed, rather than up high like on top of
the bed rail.

That's a good idea, but at this point I am trying to avoid drilling into the bed because I am putting off removing the 5th wheel rails which are bolted down there.

Hope WV is doing well, I spent many of my childhood summers in Martinsburg on account of family there. Thanks for the advice, I'll end up doing that eventually.

Putting tie down points LOW is where you want them. Going to the steak pockets is just about useless, they are too high.

You can either reuse factory tie downs from an 93--2012 Ranger or 99+ Superduty.

I prefer 1200lb d-rings from Tractor supply backed up by 1/4 plate on the back side

These look interesting. Not as inexpensive as D-rings, though.

Go to your local RV or Camper Shell shop. They can hook you up with good and proper anchors.

These worked very well for me. They are many different mounting bases and one of them fits our OBS truck stake pockets perfectly.
Amazon.com: Highland (1340000) Chrome Universal Anchoring System - 2 piece: Automotive Amazon.com: Highland (1340000) Chrome Universal Anchoring System - 2 piece: Automotive

For the two rear-most stake holes (by the tailgate), the Bull Ring 4001 fits perfectly. They don't fit any of the other stake holes though.

I have these in mine. 3 up front, two in the rear. I put two sport bikes in my truck all the time. These have been rock solid.

Is anyone using d rings with a bed liner? The truck came with a bed liner and I am inclined to keep it. If not, what is the best bed liner available for do it yourselfers not trying to spend too much?

We will assume bed bed liner you mean you have a plastic drop in one.
YES, get rid of it.

By DIY bed liner, We will assume you mean a "spray" in one

The BEST DIY liner I have ever used is AL's liner by Scorpion. It is a 4 part epoxy style liner(mix 4 parts and apply). On the CHEAP(junk) Herculiner, Duplicolor, etc that you just apply directly out of the can.

AL's can be sprayed, rolled or brushed. I have only ever sprayed it so I cannot comment on how it rolls or brushes. But it sprays out beautifully. I will be doing another later this week. A 2 gallon kit costs $170 and the gun to spray it is another $50
