everywhere i read about cracked injector cups mention oil in my coolant,
if its JUST fuel in my oil without and oil im my coolant...does this still point to a cracked cup?
This topic doesnt have many answers when i surf the site.
Is this issue common?
Where do i start?
Again my oil level way high
Fuel in my oil.
It all started one day when i started my truck and started with a loud injector knock.
Since them fuel in my oil.
MYbe one of the injectors is hung. Have you tryed a contribution test to determine which cyl is the problem?
I have not...i am not familiar with it.
Another hint is after i heard that hard knock startup
The motor had a very slight shake to it.
The ijector have about 50K on them
They were build by rosewood (stage 2's)
Feed me all the info you can

Do you have access to a compatible scanner that has live data? Maybe you should PM "Tugly" on the 7.3 super duty forum hes the go to guy for data logging and techology on our trucks.
Dam, did you used ether to start that thing? Do you have access to a jk so you can get a used rocker arm and push rod, might get away with replacing them, hopefully its not a ceassed valve.

Nahhhh..no ether.
If u look closely to the pic.
You will see a small bearing.
Any ideas where that came from? Lol
Does this give any hints how fuel is mixing with my oil?
Ty
It goes right on the round slot of the rocker arm, missed the oil/ fuel mixing part, was it the intake or exhaust (push rod and rocker?) That might explain the fuel going into the oil (no where for the compression to go if its exhaust, if intake no air going in so no igniting of fuel) , hopefully nothing to severe
Since this oil/fuel issue started i drain all fluids from the oil pan
Now when i went to remove all 4 injectors from the drivers side....the one with the broken rocker i had oil/fuel flowing up from where the injector sleeve is.
None of the other had this happen.
Not sure why JUST that one had that happen
Looking for any help

To answer your question. It broke both rocker arms.
Oh man, that sucks. Just a WAG, but maybe the something happened to the injector and filled the cylinder so full of fuel that the valves couldn't open???
