I have a 1965 Ford F350 truck. I need a clean California title for it.

 

Decided to jump onto this thread, interested in other member's comments. My experience with Ca. DMV as to whether I was able to resolve a title issue depended on which clerk I spoke to.

Obviously best solution if to have the original owner complete the form requesting a duplicate; if the history of ownership is unknown believe it's still possible put can take a few months?

 

Can you get a bonded title,like in Texas?

Goose, besides saying you need a title, you left out all pertinent information. you need a cali title for a truck you want to buy, own, or bringing from another state? ive registered and sold a lot of vehicles with all types of paperwork in hand... or missing, and theres always something to be done.

Buying a title will land you in hotter water than you're in now. CHP goes over vehicles like this with a fine tooth comb.
