2008 expedition caliper bushings
Hi,
I started to change the front brakes on my 2008 expedition 4x4 and noticed something strange. the bushing kit contains 2 hard bushings and 2 soft bushings. on my expo both hard bushings are on the drivers side and both soft bushings are on the passengers side. It seems to me that the hard bushings would go on either the top or bottom and not a particular side.
does anyone know the correct placement of the bushings?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

It's been over a year since I did the brakes on mine, but I believe the hard bushing went on top IIRC. I'm assuming your saying that you found the previous brakes with soft on one side and hard on the other? I'm sure there is a reason for where they go, but sounds like yours was working ok previously so I don't know how critical it is.
