There are many different compressors and parts listed for the AC system on a 88 e150.
I was having a very hard time identifying what parts I needed to replace the system.
Different compressors by different manufactors were used so this pertains to a factory installed system using compressor YC-53, Model FS-6, Part Number E7VY-19703-A
Hopefully it will help others.
This is a list of Motorcraft AC parts and numbers for a my 1988 E-150 W/302 WO/rear AC. Factory Installed system... Dealer installed parts may differ.
I have not decided if I will replace the evaporator yet or flush it. I will probably replace it and the heater core too, at the same time. But I do not have the part numbers for the evaporator yet, I will add them as I get them. I also have not decided if I will have a company build new hoses or try to locate new hoses, i will update this post with those numbers as well if I need to buy new hoses.
If you notice the clutch assembly is split into 3 separate parts. I only found one complete clutch assembly and it was almost $300. It was only $90 buying the parts separate.
