Ol blue is starting to show its age and need for some paint and body work. A good waxing might brighten up the paint, but will not help the rust or dent.

It's gonna take longer than I thought to get RC's truck red. I keep finding stuff I'm not willing to let slide.

Afternoon all. Looks like a good weekend ahead. I think I'll have my trailer back after the bed gets removed from it. Hope to get some other dent stuff done and maybe pick up a frame from Alan if I can find time..

I bought a pre-bent fuel line from pump to carb for my 351m. It's bent but I'll be danged if I can get it to look right. Have any of you had an experience with one? I'm considering just getting more rubber line and replace it. I wanted the metal to have a cleaner look.

I think that I've found one possible problem. After looking at a fuel pump online, it appears that the outlet should be facing the front of the truck. So I'm thinking that the PO replaced the pump with an incorrect one.

Evening All!

Larry. I usually just bend my own, that way they always look right.

Well, hell. I got RC's truck red, but not without issue. Tiff and I got in to it a little bit when I got home, so I went back to the shop to work some more. I got everything sprayed and it turned out pretty nice. ....except the cowl. I got fish eyes all over the cowl for some strange reason. Even under the hood where it was caked with grease I didn't have a single fish eye, but the cowl is covered with them. I was upset about it for a while until I realized I didn't spray the grey area on the cowl. I have a grey hood center, and a grey roof, but the cowl is solid red. .....CRAP! ....well, I have to re-shoot the cowl anyway, so I guess the fish eyes aren't that big of a deal after all.

Alan, I don't have the tools to bend my own, yet. I will wait until I get a new pump to put it on. Until then I'll be using a rubber line.

The metal tube looks as good and patterned after a dogs hind leg anyway when new.

Got the grandson picked up in Spg, so we have him for the weekend.

good morning missouri.. i played with the flat bump some, got the heads back on then took the rest of the clutch linkage off so i can fix the wear on the rods and levers.. i got all new boots for the cab and bell housing so i want it to be tight and not all floppy when i get it back together.. now i have to order some seals for the leaky steering box and get it put back on.. it is coming together slowly but surely..

alan i wish the old truck would start co-operating with ya a little better.. but i should know better.. like i always say.... "if it was easy then everyone would be doing it"

Good Morning Everybody!

As soon as the laundry is done, I'm gonna go finish the top of the hood and fix the cowl on RC's truck. I should have all the red done on the cab and front clip. I won't be able to shoot the grey on the cowl until tomorrow. So, .....Monday will be the soonest it can start to get reassembled.

High Roller should be here today or tomorrow, and the car lot dropped off another truck for some rust repair. ....I'm never gonna catch up.
