Bench seat to bucket seats!!!
Will these extended cab pickup seats work in my 1992 Ford F-150 XLT??? While back there was a guy on here that was saying that he bought some bucket seats out of a 1995 extended cab pickup truck and the was going to put them in his regular pickup and the tracks didn't work, heck nothing worked to him. So I guess you have to fabricate correct? I don't know?

I tried something similar with buckets out of an extended cab to put into by reg. cab truck and the holes on the tracks do not line up on top of that if you only drilled holes and bolted them down your head would probably hit the roof, for some reason they sit higher than reg seats. Needless to say I took them back. If you got the ability to fabricate a track/bracket then thats up to you but as far as a direct bolt in they are not. In the new jegs they have cloth race seats for 149 a piece which isn't too bad just depends on your tolerance of comfort, not trying to give you info you didn't ask for but I was considering that as my option to get buckets. Just a thought, good luck hope everthing works out

The fellow took his buckets with the console out and installed the plain bench reason it fit is because the buckets with the console out of a reg cab are one piece, meaning everything rides on one big bracket with only 4 mounting points the buckets need 8, if you modily the brackets and lower the seats they will work. Again good luck

I have a '95 extended cab F150 XLT with bucket seats (captain chair type). What I want to do is install the bench ("3 piece": two seats with the folding center jump seat).
Will the outter bolting points on the floor match up with the four points on the bench?
Is there adequate clearance on the floor for the bench frame?
What about the center seating position seatbelt, how will mounting be accomodated?
The only thing this F150 lacks is the ability to take my wife along when the kids and I go play!!!!! LOL!!!

I can't be certain, I think it will bolt right down pretty easy to figure out get a tape measure and measure the closest to farthest mounting bolts in your truck now then measure the bench. Again I am almost certain it will bolt right down if I remember correctly the brackets looked the same on the ends of the buckets in relation to the bench, my only concern would be spacing of current mounting points . Good luck
