Ok, home from work now, 2am. Once again, sorry for not checking in to FTE.
Here's the pictures of my truck showing how I had the spring hanger backwards and on the wrong sides of the truck, The second picture shows what it should look like (minus the Cal-Tracs bars).
I hope that makes sense. If not I'll try to clarify further, and "no," correcting the brackets does not change the lowered height.

No trouble at all!
Turns out I may be back here a lot more for the next while. I sprained my ankle, and broke my foot today. Doctor says to stay off my feet for the next 6-8weeks, so I won't be out in the garage.....

I wanted to give a quick thanks to you and 68Merc for all the info. I just did my DJM kit this past weekend and I might have put the rear brackets on backwards as well had I not read this. Seeing some of the pics it gave me an idea what I was getting into. A lot of good info on this site if you do your homework. Thanks Guys!
