Jim,
I am not sure if this tool would work for you or not. You would need to pump it like a bicycle tire pump. It comes with three different size tubes. And the gear oil would have to be HOT.
I bought one several years ago and I can tell you it has come in extremely handy, changing the oil in the power steering pump, removing the brake fluid from a master cylinder, or changing the oil in the lawn mower. As long as the oil is hot and you are patient it is a great tool. One cool thing if you start with a clean canister you know exactly how much oil you have removed, so you know just how much to put back. Save on MityVac 7400 at ToolTopia.com
