Startting to show its age
My 54 panel is now 10 years past it's rebirth , It has 30,000 miles and has been used as a truck , so it is looking rode hard and put away wet . I hate taking it apart and redoing it but , It's time . As Truckstock is 7 months away . I need to get to work . The running gear is fine , but inside needs to be rethought , and paint is shot , Then a new set of wheels would be nice . So the trip begins . If you are out there Bob , send me so ideals for a 2 tone paint job .

Looking at mid-fifties panels with two tone paint, I think you have to be careful to avoid making the roof look awkward. IMO Dennis Carpenter nailed it, as far as the split and colors. Could do similar with red. A white roof really helps with keeping the big box cool, but a dark top compared to the bottom makes it look more balanced IMO. (DC's is the bottom one, blue over silver)

Thanks for the pictures Ross , I have not decided on what I want to do for colors , I would like to keep the front part of the inside red as it is in good shape and I don't want to repaint it , as for the out side , red and white or red and grey ,silver , I have time as I need to remove the red and get back to primer , as I have paint blisters . I removed the interior and found two mice nest and lots of bird feed , after it is cleaned up and stripped , I need to get a plan together ,
