I hope I scored a good deal on a AC condenser but I wanted to get you guys opinion.
According to Ford web site the part number is E8UZ-19712-B
The AC compressor on my 88 e150 with a 5.0 I am pretty sure is shot. It has a rebuilt compressor according to the sticker on the back of the compressor.. So I am assuming the system is probably full of crud.

I was debating on wither to try to flush the old condenser or replace it because all the sites I found with a Motorcraft condenser, they wanted anywhere from $300 to $600 for one.. Then I checked RA and they had a Motorcraft wholesaler closeout, 1 left in stock for $50. I ordered it..

I am not sure but believe on closeout items you only get a 30 day warranty, but perhaps Ford will stand behind it.


SO is there a problem buying a part like this, what should I watch out for?
The 30 day warranty will expire before I install it..
