What don't you like about the housings?
The only way to get better lighting performance is a projector swap with bulb and ballast upgrade. I had a retrofit done two years ago. Ran it for a year. The lighting output was insane, but the OEM HIDs are 100% adequate and kill halogens all day long.

And that would be a downgrade in lighting performance. Spyder's optics are subpar compared to even the D3S projectors we have. You'd be better off having someone retrofit your current setup to your liking including a ExoX-R projector swap with ballasts and new bulbs. However it's your money, spend it stupidly if you wish.

Ya know, pictures help.
6k bulbs look cool but they actually give you less usable light. Yellow light is better for visibility. With that said you'd be better off with something like the OSRAM CBI which is a 5500K bulb. Slightly whiter and still good visibility. The more blue/purple you go then the less you see. This is why most OEM bulbs are 4000-4300K in temp/color.
