The Build of the White Beast (94 CCLB)

So after lots of research I've finally decided to start a build thread of my truck.

The story of how I got my truck, over the summer of 2014 I decided to replace my 86 F250 RCLB 351W H.O. 4 speed 4x4, got looking for a my first diesel and wanted a bigger cab. after all the trucks I looked at about to give up finding one someone didn't want a fortune for my old supervisor(who I'm still really good friends with) called me up and asked if I remembered the old white Powerstroke he has? I remembered and then he said if I wanted to buy it. well a talk with the bank and $3500 later I'm the proud owner of my first diesel a 7.3!

little bit about the truck(the real reason your here) its a April of 94 f350 CCLB 5 speed 4x4 with 3.55 gears and 250k miles from Canada, had the ball joints and tie rods done, new south bend solid stock rated clutch and Stancor GPR upgrade. it needed a new front seat because the old one was in horrible shape as the original owner(I'm the 3rd owner!) was 400+ Ibs. and pretty much broke the seat, column and driver front door hinges(hinges and column were replaced already) truck is in really good shape considering we use to use salt on our roads.

Doesn't exist without pics right

Truck after I got done removing falling off chrome trim and beat/bent up running broads and did a few other things

Helo Maxx 8 milled 17x9 on 285/70R17

I'll post up an updated pic of the truck when I clean the road grime off from the random snow storm we just had earlier this week

Nice solid looking truck! And for a great price too! I am assuming since it is a 5 spd. that it is a Powerstroke and not a 7.3 IDI. '94 could have went either way, but all the Powerstokes in '94 were 5 spds.

Bill - It is a Powerstroke, I guess I forgot to mention that. It is a very solid truck, only rust is surface rust around a rear door window, top of the windshield above the trim, drip rails and some spots where paint chipped.

Glenn - Yes it will!

Thanks z31freakify

Nice looking truck! It's nice to see small stuff addressed that goes a long way. Looks like you have done a nice job so far.

Thanks Byron!

Things getting fixed soon are glowplugs, undercover harness, and valve cover gaskets.

find the fuel leak and fix it.

replace seals on front and rear axles and rear output on t-case, do front wheel bearings.

The future mods are a set of gauges, egt, boost and fuel pressure.

full force or rosewood stage 1 or 1.5s

PHP Hydra with gearhead or wildmen tunes

S366 turbo and T4 mount with up-pipes

7.3 or 6.0 intercooler with pipes done by me

Haha, yeah every time I get out of my Bronco I have to look back at it and I've had it for closing on 10 years now! I do the same with my 91 camaro, but the Bronco is better, especially when it gets the powerstroke.

I always look back to see if I have any oil leaks . Just kidding, I do look for oil leaks under the truck when I come back to it though! Habit I guess!

Haha I kinda check for leaks too Glenn, still have a fuel leak and very slow PS leak

kingkong - I got these off Amazon but I doubt i'd get them from the seller again. they look great and are holding up but the adjusters are cheap! 2 of them stripped out the day I installed them and the sockets for the headlight bulbs don't fit right like they need to be filed just a little. if you can live with those little things I can say they are much better then the originals as far light output. if you want better I'd get them from complete performance. they are higher price there then ebay or amazon but the quality is better from what I've heard. I'll probably get them from CP eventually if these get broken or just get tired of the little issues.
