78 Ford F250 2WD rim designation

The rims for the truck carry the designation Budd 6K 16. I think Budd is the mfg of the rims, 6 is the rim width and 16 is the rim diameter BUT what does the letter designate? A WAG is that the letter designates a load rating. Right?
