X302 heads 351w

I found a guy locally who has a set of x302 ford racing heads with all new valves and springs. Are these any good on a mild 351w? Do they have a normal plug angle? What's would be a good price for them? I can't really justify spending the 600$+ per head on edelbrock or even more on afr when it's going in a jeep.

Oh any idea how much weight these aluminum heads would shave off?

Not much weight, maybe 25 lbs total. They are ok if cheap I would get them. I believe the x302 heads are the newer version of the aluminum gt40s which were better then regular gt40s. Normal plug angle. A lot better heads out now like trick flow. I'd take them for about $600 both

Are the head bolt holes drilled for the 1/2 inch bolts that the 351 takes?

They were half inch and came with 7/16" bushings. The guy said he was letting them go"cheap" and to make an offer. I started at 400$ he said he wouldn't take less than 1000 for them. I asked if they had professional porting and polishing or been milled at all. He said they're all stock with stock replacement valve train. He didn't care that they can be bought new for nearly the same amount. I guess he'll just keep them then. Side note. A 97 351 has dished pistons. Will they clear the valves fine in a set of afr 185s?
