Starting Problem

I have a 1988 F-150 I6 manual that if I turn the ignition when cold, it does not make any noise or turn over. Try it a bunch of times, sometimes 5 sometimes more it then turns over. Never had an issue after driving it somewhere and starting it after it has been running. Any thoughts? No clicking sound, no nothing. Battery is good. Solenoid?

Thanks in advance

that is my thought also.
the ignition switch on the column above the brake pedal is known to separate on these year trucks.
another possibility is a bad fender mount starter relay, or dirty battery terminals.
