Big Bang Two! F800 Single Axle Dump Truck
Man what a downward spiral on this stupid rear end.
After finding that it was a broken axle, and not the pinion. started taking the thing apart to remove the broken axle. found a broken outer bearing on the opposite side. and the thing looks as if it had a broken axle at one time.
pulled the hubs and the darn spindle is bent on the side with the broken bearing.
I am having trouble identifying the darn thing.
have walked several older junkyards, but no luck.
would anyone have any ideas for me?
The tag on the housing says EATON 10039 18500#
it is a two speed rear end and around the bolt pattern is a number 108441.
Is there anywhere that will replace a bent spindle on the housing?I found replacement axles.
Thanks Steve!

There are more if you google "1979 Ford F800 parts".
I thought I had found an Eaton link with better info, but I keep coming back to this:

Did you ever post your warranty plate info so the axle type can be decoded? They show on that site where all the numbers are stamped but it doesn't seem to match the lists.

OK so that's twice this week I'm proven to be FOS and a know-nothing. Reps to those who mentioned repair.
As punishment, I took to google again:

Post 6 is at $1000. I saw others say $1400 in searching this out.
Another outfit, they don't list prices.
