flip front end and a/c lines

Ok... all you gentlemen with full tilt front ends.. and air conditioning... I need to see your ideas and installs of your hoses/lines, etc. No inner fenders to use for support and don't want my firewall butchered...

show me how/ where you routed your lines to compressor and condenser... where did you put your dryer (without the air dam to screw it too...

also if you have a Mustang II front suspension you get extra points

thanks
John

Sorta odd John. I see tilt frontends at almost every event but no one's piping in. I will say most of the tilt frontends I've seen didn't try to hide the A/C, PS or Automatic Transmission lines.
I'd like to hide my lines eventually maybe behind a boxed frame rail

My truck is going to have a full tilt front end with A/C. But mine is a long ways from that right now.

My plan is to drop the lines from the firewall down to the frame rail. And mount the dryer and condenser to whatever radiator mounting bracket is being used.

John,

I hadn't given it much thought. It seems as if most people with tilt front ends just let it all hang out like bjmayberry2 said. I think I'd opt for running everything along the frame rail as fordman75 mentioned. You could probably fab some stanchions along the frame rail to tie everything to or maybe even box it in with a sheetmetal cover.

After I spent a lot of time plugging all the butchery in my firewall I hesitate to poke any holes in it, So, to date...still no heater. I think when I do add a heater I'll route the lines behind the fenderwell and through the side of the cab that's hidden by the fender (not much help to you with a tilt front end though)

I'm hoping some cool pics turn up in this thread.

John, I'm running the same front as you but I don't have any advice since I haven't even thought about heat or air. Spent the last year running shakedown and all I've had is old fashioned 2/60 air. I'll probably do something like stanchions as Bobby suggested.
