99' E350 6.8l v10 - No Spark

was driving down the highway at about 55 the other day and she just quit and haven't been able to get her to pop or start since. Sprayed some starting fluid (i know bad) in the intake to see if i can get her to jump so i can rule out spark, but she didn't kick when sprayed with starter fluid. Pulled #1 coil pack and hooked up a test light and and no flashing when cranking.

One thing funky about this van is you have to Cram it into park a couple times to be able to get the starter to turn over the engine, but she turns over fine in neutral. Also I have never noticed a CEL in the van and when turning key to run or into start i dont see one.

I was fully loaded and RPM were high when running the van this trip also it was -23 with the wind chill. burr.

thoughts on where to check next, since i know i am cranking fine, but no spark.

ty all

Watch the check engine light (CEL). It should be ON when the key is in the run position as this is the bulb check. Crank the engine and watch for it to go out. If it stays on, the PCM is not getting the crank signal . If the CEL engine light went out while cranking then the PCM is receiving the PIP signal from the crank sensor.

You may have a blown fuse (no CEL light ?) or crank position sensor is acting up . Good luck.
