Stage 2 transmission

Was thinking of getting a stage 2 transmission for my 97 7.3. It's got the factory a4od in it. It shifts fine and smooth. But it seems to be a bit sluggish. I'd like a little faster and more smooth acceleration. Is this something a stage 2 transmission will provide?

Contact BTS and have him custom a 'shift kit' for you. He will drill a plate and send you a valve body set up for what you are looking for.
