need help.....

i picked up a 05 f150 for my son. I drove it home about 45 minutes and it was fine. it sat in the yard for a month. I went to get some tires for it and it died on me. It will start up and run for a few seconds and die again. after it cools down it will run for few minutes and die.

I have a AE I plugged up and I got 2 codes a p2004 and the other was a pass side cam sensor. I bought a new cam sensor from ford and installed. no change.

anybody have any ideas???

i let it cool for awhile. started right up. I took it down the road and it died again. I disconnected the battery for a minute and started it again. I drove it home. I ran the **** out of it. when I pulled in my drive way it switched to open loop and died again.

so in closed loop it runs. open loop its not happening

Intake manifold runner control stuck open.
No personal experience with this, but I understand the intake plenum has to be removed to replace this part.
