Update: Here are the final pics after wet sanding and buffing, took nearly 70 hrs to get it to that point. All I have left to do is add a set of step ups to get in the truck easier and some stickers that emboss the rear tailgate lettering "FORD" It has been a year long journey that begun last September and final tally was nearly 500 hrs logged on the project!!, I trailered it home this past week and covered it up in my pole barn until it is sold

No, It's a NAA Golden jubilee model...I believe it's a 1953.....belongs to my brother, my father used it on a mini farm we had growing up and he sold it with the farm and he had the opportunity to purchase it back a few years ago and he semi restored it.....it's not show quality but it is nice, we use it to pull cars into the shop that won't run and plow snow in the winter.

Looks good. That truck is gorgeous. However just so you know, the tailgate letters were originally painted on these trucks. And most body shops back in the day would purchase the vinyl letters to put onto a replacement or repaired tailgate instead of masking off and painting the face of the letters.

Thanks. Mine came with 35s, they are too big and I've been trying to decide what size to use. Yours look perfect.
