Blueish smoke on cold start.

Hi guys I tried searching but didn't see anything. I bought this truck in August and its my first winter with it. I put a down pipe back exhaust on it on Christmas. The truck now has 55,000 miles. When I start the truck when its cold I get blue smoke for 30-60 seconds. It doesn't do it when it's warm that I have noticed anyways. I googled and some say it could be turbo seal but others say this is normal. I got in my truck yesterday at the airport and it sat there 3 days. It was about 17° F and about smoked the parking lot out.

I did my second oil change the other day and had maybe 11 quarts that came out. But my first book change on this truck I didn't realize the old filter gasket got stuck soni lost some oil and replaced but not sure if it was exact but it looked good on dip stick. So I can't say for sure it burned that oil or if I didn't fill it enough.

Is it throwing any codes. If you removed the stock exhaust you should be getting a DPF error. You need to tell the computer that the DPF has been deleted. You can buy a Tuner that will do that for you.

Mine smokes on really cold mornings. Mine is fuel though. It will haze about 30 seconds then clear up. All my deleted trucks have done it. I don't sweat it. Just watch your oil level.

You are likely totally fine. Just keep an eye on the fluid levels. If they aren't changing, then it's totally normal.

I get it every time it sets outside when cold. I thought it was something bad the first winter as well. Been 4 winters. Does it every time and haven't had any problems.
