I would like to convert my 1998 e250 CNG factory 5.4L engine BACK to gasoline!!

Really?
Good info.
However, I won't be concerned with smog test for this vehicle.
Mostly I want the engine to work on gasoline, and having a vapor recovery for pressure relief of the gas tank are my goals (with SAI from the collection canister to the intake).
The CNG dedicated version should already have an OBD-II port under the dash I would think.

I'm not sure a CNG rig is exempted but I would check before I just brushed it off.

Update:
I sold off the van for a small profit. Large if you factored in all the gear I sold separately over 2.5 years from the van.
I probably mentioned it but I also posted up largely very similar information to attempt a conversion to gasoline here:
Planning to remove all CNG components from my '98 Ford e250 van. Qs. - Natural Gas Vehicle Owner Community
There are at least 2-3 parties who have gone through with the conversion. The last one contacted me and thought he had a wiring issue and did some unnecessary replacements and deleted the AFCM which I would not normally advise. Or it could be fine, but you would have to make sure your fuel injectors are wired up receiving power to them as the AFCM is the last in line and intercepts the main PCM pin outs power that normally go straight to the injectors (with a CNG Ford those power wires are instead routed to the AFCM and adapted for a different OHM resistance power for the CNG fuel injectors. The power may be ok for gasoline as is from the AFCM, but it may not be. I never followed up with an electrician to see if the different resistance was ok).
More interesting discussion here that I had posted stuff on:
