Has ANYONE here ever installed, use or used this fuel injection system, I'm looking for users and their experience with it BEFORE I lay out the $$$ for it.

I have considered the same type of fuel delivery system. I haven't talked to EZ-EFI tech, but I did talk to Holley as the feedback searches seemed to reveal less tech problems with the Holley unit...approx. same price. However, as ssandirene points out, there is a unit by FI-Tech for about half as much money. After talking to their tech regarding fuel delivery requirements, I have decided to avoid Holley. Getting information from Holley is like pulling teeth....actually harder than pulling teeth (ask me how I know). Call FI-Tech and inquire. The feedback seems to be very positive on their system...and half the price.

 

Currently don't care to talk with a Mfg, have read some bad reviews, think it was ebay, NEED actually CUSTOMER reviews as far as months and/or miles used and any issues, GREAT idea to convert carb to such with a complete system, found howellefi.com/ which may be a option, like what I read there.
Was NOT aware of the Brand:FiTech Fuel Injection, good price BUT again would like actual reviews of users.

 

I was actually just reading up on the FiTech system and came across some corvette owners who posted their install experience and how it has worked for the first couple hundred miles. Those threads aren't even a year old yet though. Initial impressions are good though.

 

...saw the same review. There aren't many, as the system is relatively new. Actually, there are not a lot of feedback/reviews on the other systems, considering how long they've been around.

 

the fast stuff is top notch, we used a 1.0 setup on our comet sema car. it was a ITB setup so it was a little more fiddly than the straight carb conversion. but high quality and lives up to expectations.

i like the fast better than the msd but only because it looks more like a carb. that may or may not be important to you. the holley looks nice and id like to try it but no opportunity yet .

we ran an aeromotive inline pump and an aeromotive regulator with a return style fuel system.

 

 

Thanks for everyone's input, I was NOT aware of the FiTech Fuel Injection, and the price makes it attractive.

I also found Howell equiptment
Howell Engine Developments, Inc.
Howell may have just as good equipment as far as durability and long term use since it appears they use proven GM injector,computer,etc. one of the MAIN reasons I may use Howell is because of this, in other words a proven system that doesn't have inherent design flaws due to being new. Howell could sell me right off IF their online info / youtube clips were more detailed and more professional looking as far as installation. ANY OTHER comments suggestions welcomed.

 

You can also check out other reviews at the following, I do realize the longer a product is it out the mfg then can work out the bugs and that some blame the mfg for their issues, that's why I thing a precision detailed installation guide with youtube clips can help alleviate potential customer problems.
