That's better. Remember in our minds (feeble as they may be) your 70's are the new 30's ! I think of it as the youth of old age and the 50 - 60 year olds as being in the old age of middle age!

How would they know when the engine was changed if it is a 1999 or older engine?

I'm assuming it would only apply if you have an inspector that is a real gearhead or pissed off at you and looks for something to fail you. I have non doubt that the VIN/SN wouldn't match or something like that.
