Very impressive work on this, not only for bringing this truck back in such a short time, but for stretching your money as far as you have. That's a real skill in itself.
That's surprising. Just be careful. Because E85 is alcohol based instead of petroleum based, it requires different fuel line and o rings because ethanol eats rubber. That's whey some vehicle are marked as flex fuel.
I've read that also but after doing a bunch of research on E85 info pages it appears that most manufactures have been using E85 tolerant fuel system parts since the late 80's. Much of it has to do with injector pulse length and size plus software differences that give a Flex fuel vehicle it's label. Some vehicles I've had do better than others. My last F150 V6 loved E85 as well but my old Jeep Wrangler damn near wouldn't run at all on it. Our minivan is a Flex fuel vehicle and it runs good on it but it eats it up a lot quicker that regular 87 gas. My trucks have both got similar or better mileage on E85 compared to 87. Better when towing which I think has to do with E85 being 108 octane and running cooler gives it an advantage when the engine is working harder. Either way to each his own.
Our trucks are ok as far as the lines are concerned. Itll wear on the pumps a little faster and the injectors will corrode over time if you dont fork out the cash for stainless injectors.
Glad to see that you are driving and enjoying this thing. The finished product came out great.
Looks good! Are you going to continue this thread with the interior as well?
Yes but it's been a little hard to find an upgraded seats at a decent price around here. Most likely next year the thread will be updated to include a 6.9 diesel swap. I will update soon.

6.9 idi mild turbo with 4r100 trans or a manual if I can find one at the time. I've done the 5.9 and it was alright but I really like the old idi's parts are dirt cheap and they got the job done back then and I've seen ones that get it done today. I also like how they sound.
