91 F350 rear brake wheel cylinders-dualie vs. single wheel question

Can anybody confirm if the dualie rear drum wheel cylinders are a direct bolt on fit into a single wheel rear drum assy?

I'm fighting with the infamous mushy brake syndrome on a stock 1991 f350 7.3 4 door bronco. I've fed it a new vacuum pump, new later model "zero loss" vacuum brake booster, new master cylinder, new rear abs valve, all new internal rear drum hardware and parts, and now I'm eyeballing those rear wheel cylinders.

Anybody know the answer?

Yes they will bolt in and have a larger bore but I don't see that fixing your problem, have you adjusted the shoes so they just touch the drum? Are the drums in spec and not wore out and flexing a lot? How are the front calipers? Broken dust boots means the pistons will be close to seizing and give you a really poor pedal too.

I agree with ifrythings. The different wheel cylinders will NOT fix your problem.

It sounds like air in the system or misadjusted brakes
