99-04 Bumper Compatability

I know this sounds unusual, but I'm hoping to find an answer. I have an '07 F-250. i use my truck as an emergency vehicle, w/ red lights and sirens. I've come across a 99-04 bumper with siren speakers built into the bumper. Can the 99-04 bumpers be made to fit on 05-07 front ends? i know ton's of people graft 05-07 front end parts on older trucks, but I've never seen it go the other way. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

you could make it fit but it would not be a direct bolt on application, you would need to cut some of your grille to make it fit the bumper, or mount the bumper lower i guess but there would be a nice sized gap in between the headlights and the bumper. They dont bolt up in the same place i believe so youll need mounting brackets custom made, or drill into your frame. this would be a fabricating project but it would not be all the expensive so if your up for it, go for it and if you would like when i get home i could take some pictures of where the bumper mounts up exactly on my 04 f250 so you could get a good idea on how much fabricating would need to be done.

The 99 thru 04 bumper bolts directly to the front frame pads the same as the 07 it's the inner brackets you would have to modify, but if you cut the grill you will probably have to cut the header panel behind the grill as its bigger. You may be better off and I'm sure someone on here would trade up but you trade down the header panel and grille.
