New Wheels, Help spend my money

So, I am looking to buy wheels and tires for my Ex. I am looking at 17's, and I have it narrowed down to one style, but there are two options, and I am torn between the two.

I will be getting 35" Toyo A/T 2's

Help me spend my money, and let me know which one you like better...

All Black or Black with some shine. Here is a photoshop of what they could look like...

Thank you!

But I like the all black choice in your poll. Minus the 5 lug look.

Do you have anything else on the truck that is chrome? If not I vote all black. With the lug nuts, and the "lock ring" being shiny I think it is just enough.

There is very little shine on my Ex, mostly the stock Mineral Gray color and black. However, I am not against having a little shine to help break things up a bit.

Wheels always seem to be such a personal choice it is hard to pick for somebody else but the spoke design on yours caught my eye so I will offer you another option.

if You are going to a 17" because you like the larger rim look then here is a similar spoke design without the simulated Beadlock ring. of course if you picked those because you like the looks of the BeadLock ring then disregard.

these are from ATX

one nice feature of that ATX wheel is the Teflon finish. the nonstick coating makes them very easy to keep clean. the down side is they are not as Black of color as you may be wanting.

American Racing ( owner by the same company ) make a sillier spoke style with 8 spokes if that is your look.

anyhow... just an idea if you like that spoke style.

Pirate,

Both of those are good looking wheels, just not what I am looking for. Thank you for the suggestions!

As for wheel size, I am actually going down from the 18's currently on my Excursion. I want a little more rubber on my wheels.

As for the ones I have picked, well, I can get 5 with tires, all mounted and balanced with balancing beads and new lugs, shipped to my house for less than $2,100. Which makes it a deal that I can't pass up. Now I am waiting on my tax return so I can get the order in!

I don't really like the ALL black style of rims, but I did vote for all black here. With the current color and finish of your rig and accessories the mostly black rims look better to me. I do like the little bit of bling that the outer rim bolt heads and chrome lug nuts give, for me the polished faux beadlock was just a little too much.

Can the black wheel fad be over already?

Polished, chrome, painted (something OTHER then black) Literally anything but black.

I can sort of agree, and I think that is why I am sort of drawn to the shinny ring version. However, my rig is mostly of black accents, so I am trying to find the style that best fits the look of my rig...
