As for headlights...OEM are absurdly expensive. VIPMOTO makes "nicer" units for half the price. You can get fogs, 3rd brake light and headlights for the price of one OEM headlight assembly: 11-16 Ford F-250 Supderduty High Stop Light Fog Lights Projector Headlights LED

I went with the aftermarket running lights and turn signals, never had heated so I dont miss that part. I found OEM headlights for 184.00 and I dont think they knew what they were going for on Ebay which were titled different and I stumbled on them and bought them on the spot.

Im buying it new, so I assume it does come with the seal.

If you add decals it makes that black grill "pop". https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A1WB63FAJ00QST

They take the chrome thing a little too far on the Lariat's etc. Next they will offer a completely chrome truck. sheez

If buying new, I serious doubt it will come with it. I believe it has a part number, but I don't see it in the diagram. The maker for the McNasty kit told me I had to make sure to get the seal, because it wouldn't come with it new.

For the tow mirrors, I used 1A auto..I have everything, but it was 440 for the pair and I would swear they're OEM.

Its a pity that none of the pick-n-pull junkyards in my area have anything as recent as a 2011 SuperDuty. Parts are worth too much to them.

I hurts to be paying hundreds of dollars for new rubber pieces that cant even be seen.

Unfortunately, that rubber is needed so it doesn't smack the grille. I'm working in California and haven't anything, but in NC..I've found a gold mine of parts. For the new parts I've got from Ford, I've asked for a discount and was given a 10% off.

I just realized that we are gunking up Rob's thread! Rob so sorry. Lets start a new build thread for random build info and discussions, unless one already exists.

NC has a goldmine of parts you say? What kinda parts? (PM me or start new thread)

Hey Rob,

I looked under a friend's 2015? F450 and saw only one of these hood seals you refer to in your parts list. You list two.

-Hood seal corner Left BC3Z16A238C
-Hood Seal corner Right BC3Z16A238G

Schematics here:

and pics of the F450 hood.

Going to have to disagree with this. These aren't nicer. In fact they look incredibly cheap. I know looks are subjective and all that but to me those do not look good. Those look like the sort of thing you see people buy off Ebay and stick on their 2005 Mitsubishi Mirage with a giant park bench on the back of it. Maybe a non-chrome version would look better? I don't know. Most aftermarket headlights lack the quality of an OEM headlamp assembly and the price usually reflects that.

Here is a picture of the outer rockers which rusted through on the bottom which is pretty typical around here and also the inner rockers need replaced. I knew the inner rockers were pretty bad and I have been watching them for the last three years with the hope of getting to them before it was too late.

I sand blasted all the cab supports and it looks like I’ll have to do some minor welding here and there to put them back where they need to be but over all not bad as from the metal lip up is what I need and from there down will all be replaced. I also had to order the front cab pillar as it was rusted on the inside.

Here is after the first sand blast, I will be following up with another one till it is all clean metal.

Here is the spot weld cutter you will need and I used a 1/8 drill bit instead of a punch and just made a small impression

Here is the start of removing the outer front rocker, make sure you get a few spot weld cutters, you’ll need them!!

Here at the yellow arrow I will be replacing this front pillar or at least part of it. The red arrow is the old inner rocker that I will be replacing which looks to be spot welded to the floor were you see the blue arrows but many more spots both at the floor leval and the cab supports,I'll find out as I clean things up. The inner rocker runs from the front cab pillar to the back of the cab corner and getting it out should be real fun, stay tuned.

Here are all the replacement parts excluding the two front cab pillars and also the two inner cab corners.

There's two of them, I just picked them up. And hopefully tomorrow, I'll start taking the front end off of mine and of all the parts, I'm only missing the pivot arm for the wipers.

Hopefully you can see the pictures as I was having a problem before.I finished removing the outer rockers, cab corner, inner cab corner and inner rocker panel then sand blasted the cab supports where they weld to the inner rocker and what I’m leaving of the inner cab corner. I still have to remove part of the front cab pillar.

Here is the main cab supports after sand blasting, I still need to strighten them and grind the spot welds flat and also fill some pin holes.

Here is where I trimmed and sand blasted the inner cab corner and behind that is where I will tie my inner rocker to.

I still have to sand blast the under side again but it's nice to get closer to putting the new panels on and so far I have been able to do this with the doors on!!!
