Hi guys. I have a 2008 F150 that the 4x4 light turns on on the dash when I turn the switch but the 4x4 does not actually engage. Just yesterday the low fuel light came on and the gauge dropped below E. I know that I have a full tank. I u hooked the battery this morning and rebooked it up and the gauge worked for about 30 mins of driving then the truck beeped at me and went back to below E and low fuel message came back up. My parking break light also comes on occasionally. From everything that I have researched it sounds like a GEM module but I have only found that about previous gem trucks. Does the 2008 have a GEM? Is it located under the dash like the previous gem trucks? I figured I would ask on here before I started tearing things apart and spending money. Any help is appreciated.

 

for your 4x4 check your vac accuator if they crack along the 3 bolts or have a leak in them or anywhere in the hose it will lock but one side might not and all you to is turn your spider gear in the differential
