rock guard style

I am looking for a hitch mounted rock guard for my truck so that I don't throw any rocks or debris into the front of my brand new travel trailer. What are people using to stop anything being tossed by the tires into the fronts of their trailers? Any recommendations? Thanks.

A lot of us use mud flaps such as Husky or Duraflaps.

I have seen a few of these (not exactly this one, but very similar) in my travels across our nation. If I ever decide I need flaps, this is what I will go with because I won't always need them, only when towing.

I have one of the "rock solid" ones from a company called smart solutions. Attached to the hitch shank like the one Sous posted. I use it when hauling my brothers boat, seems to work great. Can't use it with my camping trailer however because the WDH has a reinforced shank that is not square.

Years of pulling a boat and travel trailers and have never had any debris strike the front of them. I have had water freeze into a solid wall on the front of a utility trailer; that added at least a couple hundred pounds of weight to the load!
I simply have Husky mud guards mounted on the front and rear wheel wells. I find they do a great job of keeping the rocker panels and step bars clean. Rocks and such are a non-issue.

All you need is a piece of 1 or 2 inch square stock welded/bolted on a shank to fit the hitch. Bolt a couple of truck mud flaps on and for about 25 bucks, ready to go. I'll be making one up soon as our 5er's front got plastered with road tar twice and centerline paint (Texas!!)once and it's a pain to clean off.
