A year after installing aftermarket egr coolers, head studs, new front cover it is leaking a gallon in 10 miles! No smoke, no coolant on the ground, no coolant smell, no coolant in the oil. Egr coolers tested good. The front cover is starting to pit after just 1 year. All 3 of the '08's we have are junk from the front of the transmission to the radiator!

 

Putting new head gaskets on. Heads checked good. No visible leakage area on head gaskets. UGH!

 

That sucks, where is it going?

 

No clue. The Sinister EGR coolers both tested good, both heads tested good. Intake full of black sticky goo. Pistons did not look like anything was getting into the cylinders.

 

Evaporating? New degas cap?
