power door lock question

yes, I searched first... anyway, just got this 96 f150 4.9 5spd shortbed eddie bauer truck. the door locks acted very weird. locking and unlocking them selves, etc... I replaced the drivers switch and all was good, for a few days... now it doesn't work at all (drivers switch)
I have pulled it back off and tested it. checks good. continuity from center pin to correct outer pins (when switched each way) I have power at center blk/wht wire. when testing with switch in place, power is going thru as it should.

all the window switches work, the pass door lock switch locks and unlocks both doors fine. drivers side, nothing.
what do you think?

could be the door lock actuator in the door. They can get wet and dusty over the years.

well what's weird is that when the drivers door lock switch was NOT working on either lock, the passenger side worked both locks fine. guess I'll have to wait till it quits again to test more wires

I wonder if your truck has keyless entry and the module is acting wonky? The wiring for it will interrupt the normal power flow to and from the door locks.
