Does anyone have experience using the Banks big head wastegate actuator, on a stock or aftermarket turbo ? Does it do what they claim ? Or would an adjustable boost valve work better, like the big boost kit I have seen for sale ?

 

I have one on my truck. Also have a DP tuner and a list of other mods. I havint had a drama with it. Works sweet.

 

Did you put it on the stock turbo ? Did you notice longer boost duration than before, or higher boost sooner, at low speeds ? How long have you been using it ?

 

Yeah it went on the stock turbo but I also fitted the banks turbo wheel at the same time. Also did the tuner at the same time so I couldn't say if it helped any. But it hasn't hindered anything. It's been fitted for about 6 years.

yeah I love it. I have the no start, valet mode, 60 and 80 tow. 80 economy, 120 race and 140 aggressive. Have not had a prob with it and got the model that I can download new tunes if I upgrade bits.
