This is a before pic right after I bought the truck. As you can see, it's in really nice shape with orig 80,000 miles and orig paint. NO RUST AND NO DENTS!!!

making progress slowly! Used a drill and wire brushes on frame, gas tank & rear end then painted with POR-15 and sprayed Satin Black over the POR-15 on the frame. Gloss Black and Red Oxide on the rear end and Rustoleum Galvanized on the tank.

Where are you in North Carolina I'm in Apex, just outside of Raleigh. You need to check out our local chapter. We try to get together once a month and have dinner together, and cover a good area of the state. We have several threads going on like the "Build" thread for pictures of our projects, and if a hand is needed we try to help out, even if it isn't truck related.
