A thought for after you get this figured out....
My CPS got flakey and I went straight to Ford and bought a new one. I ran that for about 2 weeks and then bought another one. I installed the new one and put the 2 week old one in the glove compartment with a socket. Now I KNOW my spare is proven to be good.
