I have and it was the best with tons of vendors. It's like going to the fair only with cars and parts. If I lived closer I would probably go again.

Sorry I am lacking on my job again getting the monthly chat up. I forgot it was the 1st.

I spent all morning at the hospital getting a stress test done on the old ticker. The doctor wanted to do it because I am retiring not because he thought I had a problem. I was not rushed into emergency bypass surgery so I guess everything is fine.

Its ok Chief, I love hearing about you guys and what you have got going on so I don't mind starting new Chats if I can. I do like how they are organized by month.

Might be loosing reverse in my Dodge, but on 200k miles, 1 solenoid that was for recall and 4 fluid flushes, Im not surprised. Going to start looking for donors here soon.

I need to replace the torque converter solenoid switch in the Grand AM, It does not like to stay engaged, a known problem with these cars. I can feather the gas when it's cold to keep it engaged but it gets worse as the outside temps get warmer. I am going to service the fluid and filter when I do it. I have almost 150 thousand miles on it.

I have the news on and sort of watching the voting from Iowa, I am just glad to finally have some voting going on.

Well guys I learned I can not just but a 2wd housing on my transmission I would have to replace the shaft as well. Looks like I am going to try and tackle a transmission mod myself (funds won't allow paying someone) wish me luck.

It might be a while before I put in the transmission seeing how I am going to have to convert the tailshaft from 4x4 to 2wd, get a TPS controller and carb sensor.

I might try to swap my engine with a crate first. I am looking for a 302 high rise intake. Do you guys know anyone how has a used one?

Did you give up on the frame swap we talked about on the other thread? If you are going to Moultrie you may find one.

Since some of you are getting big refunds, yall want to try junkyard day maybe March 5? Here a thought for a monthly get together Project day one Saturday a month. We could get together and help each other with our truck projects.

Unfortunately, I could find anyone to carpool with and a 4hr trip is kind of hard to swallow if I may not find anything. As far as body swap, I am going to pass on that. I want to get this 400hp crate engine and 4 speed transmission more then 4x4 at the moment.
