New 95 Bronco owner in Virginia

I thought I would post a couple pics of my new Bronco. This is a one owner 95 with 252,000 miles on it. It had a blown head gasket (5.8L) and rather than attempt to fix it myself or pay someone to do it and not know what else might be wrong in the engine I paid a local shop to swap the engine out with a different one that has 112,000 miles on it. Now it is running well and only a couple minor issues to deal with. I cleaned and waxed the outside yesterday and now I need to clean the inside, it's dirty.

The total bill for the engine and labor was like $3,200. The had to replace some other items too like the water pump, plugs, pcv valve and a couple other things, plus the tow from where I bought it. I don't know what the engine came out of but they said whoever they got it from they test the engines. Me not being a mechanic I have to sort of put my faith in the shop which I have used in the past and always had good luck. The other option was a new Jasper engine which would have been I think $5,000 which I just couldn't stomach.

Love that blue My 3 owner (first two owners were father then son then me) had 241K on it when purchased. Now has 260K on original equipment (minus radio, shocks, struts, brakes, and tires I had to replace all of that right away ).

Good looking bronco. That blue has always been one of my favorites. I got the green that seems like 90% of them came with, but it was one owner, well maintained and the right price.

Nice Bronco! it really is in good shape, you got a + too, the hubs have already been swapped to Warn manual hubs, maybe you're lucky enough and the transfer case is a manual too (any short sticks inside?).

No it has the push button 4x4 but it works, high and low so I guess I'm lucky for now! I've been out driving it in the snow today here in Virginia.
