Its time for a longgggggggggg hot shower and then into my comfortable bed.
Goodnight Chris, Rick, Kelly, and everyone who may stop by.

It does but the shots keep her alive. She puts up with it. When I do a blood test she will come and lay her head on my lap. I sometimes wonder if she knows the shot makes her feel better.

Night Ian. Sleep well.

Thanks. Looks simple enough but it took a ****e load of work to get this far. Love my wood boiler. I'd love to have my garage for projects, but we are currently living in the garage (with heated floors), while we build our house.

Maybe this year!.

Hey Chris,
We are actually on Parker Lake, just North of Big Lake. We have 135 acres of mostly woodlot.

It does have a cost but not as much as one might think. It's worth it to us because she is still here. Simply amazing dog. She is doing quite well overall. She has had it for about 16 months now. We really don't know how it will affect her life span though, probably shorten it some.

Surprisingly I don't ever remember a Parker Lake. My dad may as they still live in Williams Lake.

What's her issue?
We recently learned that our big guy has hip dysplasia, which really sux because he's only 4 years old. He's an 80 lb. teddy bear and totally loyal to my wife. Might have to start a 'post a pic of your dog' thread.

Most people don't know about Parker as there's no real public access - surrounded by ranches and there's no fish, as far as I know (wink, wink).

Other than being diabetic she has no issues other than being a big goof. She came from a good breeder which helps. She is just over 8 and weighs in somewhere between 120-125 lbs.

That does suck for such a young dog. Lots of pain? We give ours glucosimine but I think that is beyond that.

Good morning Gents,

I got lost and found myself here, been interesting, glad your back safe and sound Ian, looks like we got a new member who's building a lodge, thanx Kelster. lol

February is a good month around here this year, get to spend a lot of time in the shop getting it ready to work out of. Got the place cleaned up enough that by the end of the next shift it should be wired and lit. Then its clean up and improve the workshop time.

Its back to projects and if I work, it'll be out of my side shelter or I'll start selling excess parts, the latter involves cleaning out another shed thats hidden in the shop.

Sure like these easy Calgary winters, good for the health, easy on the back and I get more done than if I lived anywhere else under the circumstances.
